  1. Subject content and scope of application
This standard stipulates the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, transportation and storage of marble wastes (hereinafter referred to as wastes). *
This standard is applicable to waste materials and other building materials which are mined out of marble ore bodies and used for processing and making building decorative materials.
  2. Citation criteria
GB 9966.1 Test Method for Natural Decorative Stone Compressive Strength after Drying, Water Saturation and Freeze-thaw Cycle
GB 9966.2 Test Method for Natural Decorated Stone Bending Strength Test Method
GB 9966.3 Test Method for Natural Decorated Stone Volume Density, True Density, True Porosity and Water Absorption
  3. Product Classification
  3.1 classification
3.1.1 Waste materials are classified into two categories according to the shaping method:
  A. Sawing Waste Material (SS): Six surfaces are shaping by sawing. *
  B. Split Surface Scrap (CS): Scrap with one or more sides shaped by splitting method. *
3.1.2 Waste materials are classified into three categories by volume (see Table 1). *
  3.2 grades
According to the allowable extreme tolerance of scrap size, flatness and angle, the allowable extreme tolerance and appearance quality can be divided into first class (B) and qualified product (C). *
  3.3 Naming and Marking
3.3.1 Naming order of waste material: place name of waste material origin, color pattern characteristic name, marble (M). *
3.3.2 Scrap marking sequence: naming classification, specification size, grade, standard number. *
  3.3.3 Examples of markup:
First-class white waste material produced in Fangshan, Beijing, with a specification size of 250 cm x 150 cm x 100 cm.
  Fangshanbai (M) CS 250 *150 *100 B JC202
  4. Technical requirements
4.1 Scrap must have the shape of a right-angled parallelogram. The names of its parts are shown in Fig. 1. *
4.2 The specifications and sizes of waste materials shall conform to the requirements of Table 2. *
4.3 The allowable extreme tolerances of length, width, height, flatness and angle of scrap materials shall conform to Table 3.
  4.4 Appearance quality
4.4.1 The tone pattern of the same batch of waste materials should be basically the same. *
4.4.2 The appearance quality grades such as corner, edge and crack of waste materials shall conform to Table 4. *
  4.5 Physical Performance
The volume density of 4.5.1 is not less than 2.60 g/cm. *
The water absorption of 4.5.2 is not more than 0.75%. *
4.5.3 Drying compression strength is not less than 20.0 MPa. *
The bending strength of 4.5.4 is not less than 7.0 MPa. *
  5. Test methods
  5.1 Extremely poor size.
The maximum and minimum sizes in the long, wide and high directions of scrap material are measured with a steel tape ruler with a calibration tolerance of 1 mm. The difference between the maximum size and the minimum size is used to express the size extreme difference of length, width and height, respectively. The reading is accurate to 1 cm. *
  5.2 flatness
The steel flat ruler with straightness tolerance of 0.1 m m and length of 1 m is placed on the inspected plane, and the maximum gap between the ruler plane and the plane is measured with the steel tape ruler. The plane limit tolerance of waste material is expressed by the maximum measured value in each surface. The reading is accurate to 1 cm. *
  5.3 angles
The tolerance of inner angle perpendicularity is 0.13mm. The angle between adjacent surface of waste material is measured by 90 steel angle ruler with inner corner length of 45 cm *40 cm. Take a flat surface of raw material as the datum level, close one side of the angle ruler to the datum level, and measure the angle gap between the other side of the angle ruler and the measured surface with a steel tape ruler. When the measured angle is greater than 90, the measuring point is at the root of the corner ruler; when the measured angle is less than 90 C, the measuring point is 40 cm away from the root. The angle limit tolerance of waste material is expressed by the maximum measurement value of each angle. The reading is accurate to 1 cm. *
  5.4 Appearance quality
Visual inspection of 5.4.1 tone patterns, weathering and hard minerals. *
5.4.2 The length, width and depth of the missing angle and edge are measured by steel tape. See Figure 2. *
5.4.3 Cracks are determined by visual inspection, watering (observation of water penetration) or hammering (hammering with metal hammers and, if necessary, emptying waste materials to listen to their sounds) to determine whether cracks exist. The length of the crack along the direction of propagation is measured with a steel tape. *
  5.5 Physical Performance
5.5.1 Volume density and water absorption were determined according to GB9966.3. *
5.5.2 Drying compression strength is in accordance with GB9966.1. *
5.5.3 Bending strength is determined by GB9966.2. *
5.6 Minimum size calculation of waste material for acceptance volume. *
5.7 Specification size is expressed as the minimum size of scrap. *
  6. Inspection Rules
  6.1 Mining Inspection
6.1.1 Examination items: extreme size, flatness, angle, appearance quality. *
6.1.2 batches: 5 m is the batch of waste materials with the same color pattern, category and grade. Less than 5m can be counted in batches. *
6.1.3 Inspection: Inspection of the same batch of waste materials piece by piece. *
6.1.4 Judgment: When all the test results meet the corresponding quality grade in the technical requirements, the batch of scrap materials will be judged to meet the quality grade; if one does not meet, the batch of scrap materials will be judged not to meet the quality grade. *
  Type 6.2 Test
6.2.1 Inspection items: all items in technical requirements. *
6.2.2 When one of the following situations occurs, type tests shall be carried out:
  A. When a new mine is put into operation;
  B. When the hue and pattern characteristics of ore bodies have obvious variations;
  C. In normal production, once every two years;
  D. When the National Quality Supervision Agency puts forward the type inspection requirements. *
6.2.3 batches: same ore drawing inspection. *
6.2.4 Inspection: Dimension range, flatness, angle, appearance quality block by block
