Granite for decoration is generally made of slabs. According to the shape of the sheet, it can be divided into ordinary sheet (square or rectangle, code N), special-shaped sheet (other shape sheet, code S). According to the thickness of the plate, it can be divided into thin plate (thickness < 15mm) and thick plate (thickness > 15mm). According to the degree of plate surface processing, it can be divided into three categories.
  1. Rough panel (RU)
Plates with flat, rough surface and regular processing stripes. There are mainly planer board processed by machine-planing method, axe board processed by axe head, hammer board processed by flower hammer, burning board processed by flame method and so on. Surface rough, simple, natural, thick, solemn.
  2. Mirror panel (PL)
After rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing, the surface is smooth and has mirror gloss. Deluxe and easy to clean. There are many specifications and sizes of granite slabs. The commonly used length and width range is 300-1200mm, and the thickness is 10-30mm. The standard of Natural Granite Building Plate stipulates that the pattern and tone of the same batch of plates should be basically harmonized, and the glossiness of mirror panel should be no less than 75 glossiness units. At the same time, the volume density of granite should not be less than 2.50g/cm2. Water absorption should not be less than 1.0%, compressive strength should not be less than 60 MPa and bending strength should not be less than 8.OMPa.
